Screenshot 2023-06-26 at 12.41.53.pngCRUISER is the largest passenger boat to ply the Thames Estuary. She capable of carrying up to 200 persons and can cruise anywhere along the River Thames, Medway and Swale.

From Tower Bridge to Whitstable, Clacton or Rochester Bridge to Sheerness, this small ship takes you on extended voyages in comfort and safety.   

Cruiser is licenced by the Maritime and Coastguard agency as a Class IV and VI passenger vessel and due to her size makes her a very capable little ship for taking on the oneous waters of the Thames and Coastal waters. She has a enclosed lower deck for those rainy days and a completely open spacious top deck for when it is warm and sunny. Cruisers versitile capabilities makes her the ideal veiwing platform to gaze upon the coastlines and even getting up close to the Thames forts. Her spacious upper decks provides a unriveled veiwing position for sightseeing and even when it gets abit choppy out there, passengers remain safe and dry. 

During your cruise you can retire to the bar lounge to enjoy the veiws though the large panoramic windows.

Onboard facilities include a fully stocked bar, separate Ladies and Gents toilets and seating both inside and outside.

Wheelchair access

Due to various boarding requirements at various piers, loading is generally via a gangway which does not permit access in a wheelchair. Although if you are able to step aboard you may use a wheelchair on the main passenger deck. Toilets are accessed via a flight of stairs down to the lower deck of the vessel. 

 

 

Operational limitations

Cruiser is may collect passengers from Chatham, Queenborough, Southend and Gravesend Town piers. She is able to cruise the Thames from London Bridge to a line drawn across the Thames from Whitstable to Clacton Pier all year round and this is extended to Margate in the summer months. 

 

Private Charters

Cruiser can be hired for private parties with catering on the lower Thames and Medway to the following capacities:

  • 100 for Afternoon teas/Sit down meals
  • 100 for Fish and Chip cruises 
  • 200 for finger fork buffets
  • 200 Discos
  • 150 Jazz Cruises 
  • 200 for Ferry/Cruise ship transfers
  • 125 for Tours of the Thames Fort Tours

* Maximum passenger numbers are reduced to 125, if operating to the Thames Forts or in the estuary 1 hour after sunset.
