Ferry Captain

Boatmaster Tier 1 Level 2 with passenger endorsement

LKE - Not required

Criteria

  • Minimum 5 GCSE’s or equivalent (Including Maths & English)
  • BML Tier 1, Level 2
  • STCW Certificate in Personal Survival Techniques, Firefighting and First Aid
  • Underpinning knowledge of safety management systems and the DSC/ISM Code
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • A good understanding of vessel navigation and close quarters work.
  • Knowledge of working with Jet units (desirable)

Day on, Day off. (No Sunday's or bank holidays) 

Start 05:00AM, Finish 19:30PM (breaks included in timetable)

Part Time leading to Full Time contract in March 2019

 

We have an exciting new opening for an individual to join our team aboard our fleet both on the Mewday and Thames. We are seeking a young and enthusatic team member to assit with the operation of our vessels and maintainence. 

 

20 hours guarenteed until March 2019. During this time you will be placed on various training courses to allow you to operate as a competant crew member. After March and as we approach our next season, hours will increase accordingly. 

 

Criteria
  • Minimum 5 GCSE’s or equivalent (Including Maths & English)
  • Must be ae 18 or over.
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Candidate must be able to drive or have personal transport.
  • Would suit candidate training towards Boat Master License
